Автор сообщения: TuxNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I really do not understand why so many gamers thing the most important part of making a game fun is technical things like s not about bugs.the key to a good game is not s game design The risk here is, and has ALWAYS been, that T2 a company that makes games for a 10 year old childs mind (regardless of biological age) is going to do what exactly to Delta V? I mean, yeah, they pulled a fast one with the shutdown of Star Theory, but realistically does it matter if what we get at the end is a quality, great game that is not endlessly ridden with microtransactions and/or busted physics?ĪAA games = bug free good performance but shallow, boring, simple, intelligence insulting game play that any 10 year old can master. I just would like people to stop getting divided over this game just because Take-Two owns the rights to it. That's why a lot of people is cautiosly optimistic about this title. I mean, yeah, they pulled a dodgy one with the shutdown of Star Theory, but realistically does it matter if what we get at the end is a quality, great game that is not endlessly ridden with microtransactions and/or busted physics? You can't dumb down that, you'll loose the only reason the game exists, it's like removing planes from FS, you don't do that, you make a rewrite of the original title and then put in all the features that the original Dev had to scrap because they couldn't afford to implement and because the game was way too unoptimised and unstable to add them (like colonization or multiplayer).Īnd that, coincidentally, is exactly what the fanbase wants. KSP is the only worthwhile space sim with realistic space travel and orbital mechanics, and that's what makes it sell, the core, the target T2 is after. They are targeting the same kind of audience that Paradox games have, the kind of niche in which there is enough people to sell one or more titles but no one is doing them (and that means you don't have to blow a AAA budget to make the best title for that genre). Why?īecause they're not going for the same marked as your average COD or Assassin's Creed. They specifically bought the KSP IP for a reason, space games with indie IPs are a dime a dozen, one could say that the "space genre" is over-inflated with titles given the niche nature of the public it has, and yet T2 decided to buy Kerbal from Squad, set up a 3 year development contract and then confirm it for 2 additional years (hardly the quick cashgrab) after the development studio failed to deliver. You seem to be confusing greediness with incompetence, T2 is the greediest of the bunch but they're not incompetent. people dont really play video games for the bug free experience guys AAA titles arent just bad they are horrible.
